MULTI-BAND SOLUTIONS FOR FLEXCOMM 7000 SERIES RADIO INSTALLATIONS

In conjunction with Canyon Aeroconnect®, PIC Wire & Cable has developed a series of assemblies explicitly tuned for use with Canyon’s Tactical Aircraft Radio product line. The Flexcomm™ line of radios from Canyon is utilized across a wide range of missions including U.S. Military, Customs & Border Protection, Police, EMS, and Search and Rescue aircraft operators around the globe. These Multi-band radios utilize AM/FM and UHF/VHF bands up to 970MHz covering the entire civil support frequency range.

FLEXCOMM 7000 SERIES CABLE OPTIONS

When it comes to these special-use aircraft, the slightest deviation in performance can make the difference between mission success and radio silence. With mission-critical systems like Canyon Aeroconnect Tactical Radios, the importance of selecting the right cable cannot be understated. That’s why Canyon Aeroconnect recommends PICMates RF cables be used with their Tactical Aircraft Radios. The PICMates RF coaxial cables are lightweight, flexible, low loss, and high temperature. They are designed for aircraft operating in a wide array of mission profiles, where unpredictable environments are present. With PICMates assembly sets, you can streamline the installation of these systems while achieving the highest quality of performance expected by the operators themselves.

MAXIMUM CABLE LENGTH (INCHES) FOR FLEXCOMM 7000 SERIES

For Multiband cables that cover frequencies above & below 400 MHz, testing is to be conducted at both 2:1 and 2.5:1 VSWR

MAX Insertion Loss is 3dB, MAX VSWR is shown below
